VERLIC is a gothic Christian clothing brand operating from South Africa through verlic.co.za. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use the site, sign up to the order's correspondence, or place an order.

References to “VERLIC”, “we”, “us” and “the order” mean the entity that operates this website.

At present the site runs on local product data and does not yet process payments or store customer accounts. The information we may collect today is limited to:

— the email address you submit through the “Join the Order” signup; the name, email address and message you send through the contact form; and limited technical data (such as device and browser type) if analytics are enabled in future. If you place an order once checkout is live, we will collect the details needed to fulfil it — name, delivery address, contact details and order contents.

We use your information only to: respond to correspondence; send the rare email you have asked for; and (in future) fulfil and deliver orders and provide order support. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to the order without your consent.

VERLIC does not store card details. When payments are enabled they will be processed by a licensed payment provider (such as PayFast, Yoco or Stripe) under that provider's own terms, and garments will be printed and fulfilled by a production partner (such as Printify or Printful) which requires your delivery details to ship your order. Each provider is bound by its own privacy policy, which we will link here once those services are connected.

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask that it be corrected, or request that it be deleted. Email us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected — for example, order records are retained to support returns and warranties. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, but no transmission over the internet is completely secure.

As the store grows — payments, production and accounts are connected — this policy will be updated. The date below will always show the latest revision, and material changes will be flagged on the site.
